Ahh, student life. It is the time in our lives when we are pushed from pillar to post until we decide to settle on a major we can study for the best four years. Even when we have studied long and hard, it can still be difficult to find the career path we want to pursue.

Studying is expensive, and by the end of the degree, we are practically broke. A first aid kit is one of those things which you won’t realize you needed until you have it. It can make a massive difference to your day if you accidentally cut your hand or burn yourself in the oven. It can be a godsend and is a must in every dorm room.

If there is any household item you will want to invest in this year: it should be a good quality pillow. A memory foam pillow can make your sleep much better every night, and in turn, you’ll find it easier to concentrate and learn in lectures. It’s a win-win situation and can allow you to perform better in your degree.
A Study Buddy
Never underestimate the power of peers in your student life. A good friend to study with can be the difference between sailing through your finals and falling flat on your face. It is even better if you can get together as a small group and form a study team together!
